It’s 2021, but still feels like 2020 I hear you and that’s why this valentines day is going to be a little bit alternative!
We know this year already is going to be no different (yet) in terms of everyone not being able to enjoy life as it was, but we must stay strong and get through this like troopers we are.
It’s also now February, which means by birthday! Oh and of course, the day of the red heart. I mean a huge marketing opportunity for many businesses who are still keeping afloat and a day of giving and receiving.
This year is going to be different as we know, so I have found an amazing “Guide To An Alternative Valentine’s Day” which has been curated by the talented Sam over on his blog Modern Guy
Sam kindly messaged me asking if he could feature me on his gift guide, to which I was completely thrilled and honoured so of course I said yes!
To be on a gift guide is really special for me, I launched my small business towards the end of last year and it has been a labour of love and is something I strongly put my passion and heart into.
If you haven’t seen it already, my shop is over here
Sam’s gift guide covers men, women, kids and even pets – yes pets should not feel left out!
What better way to cheer someone up than gifting them with something thoughtful during these unusual circumstances and supporting a small business?!Sam, Modern Guy
There are some absolutely beautiful products on there from some lovely independent shops, so I highly recommend a look if you are looking for the alternative valentines gift.

Have a lovely valentines and remember to also take time for yourself.
